FCI Judge

Louise Danckwardt-Lillieström is an autorized FCI Judge for Cairn, Scottish, West Highland White, Norfolk and Norwich Terriers at CAC and CACIB shows.

Louise was born into a family where dogs have been part of the everyday life for several generations. Her grandfather, Dag Dufwa, bred Longhaired Dachshunds under kennel prefix Ekhorst since the 1930s and was a dog show judge. Her father, Wilhelm Dufwa, was also a former dog show judge, and most known for his cocker spaniels, that still today are portrayed on the Swedish Cocker Spaniel Club emblem, as well as one of Swedens most notable dog photographers. As of today Louise carries on the family tradition co-breeding with her mother Ewa Söderwall, who has bred Cairn Terriers under the prefix Tribuns for the past 50 years. The kennel has produced more than 100 champions, and a large number of international champions, as well as multiple FCI World Winners and FCI European Winners.

Louise has been a former Junior Handler, and was no #1 Junior Handler in Sweden 2006. She has been showing dogs both in the Nordic countries and on the European continent, and spent time in the USA as a pro-handling assistant for notable terrier handler Susan dePew, well known for her breeding of Norfolk, Norwich and Airedale Terriers. For many years Louise was the secretary for the national committee responsible for the Junior Handling sports in Sweden. Through the committee she arranged national handling seminars and taught national junior handling judges educations. In 2013 she was awarded the Marikarlos scholarship for her contributions to young members of the Swedish Kennel Club. She has judged Junior Handling competitions in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

In 2023 Louise completed the Swedish Kennel Club's education to become an autorized FCI judge. She is authorized to judge Cairns, Scottish, West Highland White, Norfolk and Norwich terriers at CAC and CACIB shows. She has also been a frequent judge at unofficial shows since 2014, judging dogs from all 10 breed groups.

Louise lives in Stockholm with her husband Eric and the family's Scottish Terrier Daphne, working in finance. She is currently on the board for the Swedish Terrier Club.
