ABOUT KENNEL
TRIBUN
My name is Ewa
Söderwall and am person behind the Tribun Kennel.
I have been involved with the breed since 1974, when I fell in
love
with and got my very first cairn. An easy choice I have
not yet today ever come to regret!
My first little terrier was to be
Sofiedals Yhra, who also came to be founding bitch of the kennel. A this
time dogs shows was never
the intention of my interest, but my breeder,
Inga Britt-Palmgren,
(luckily!) convinced me to take Yhra
to some shows. Yhra turned out to be a great
show dog and so finished both Swedish and
Finnish Show Champion titles!
Under the advice of Inga-Britt
I decided to plan a litter under Yhra sired by
Int Ch Roederich Copernicus.
From this
first litter I
kept one bitch,
Tribuns
Afrodite, who later became both Nordic and International Show Champion,
and won Cairn Bitch of The Year.

My passion for the breed
is continuing through my oldest child of three, Louise, who was the Top
Junior Handler in the country 2006 and top
10 ranked at the world finals at the World Dog Show the same year,
ofcourse showing a Cairn terrier, CH Tribuns Foreign Affair.
The autumn of
2008 she spend in the USA working as a Pro-handler assistant to
team Kipp, Suzy and Scott Kipp, who shows
among the top handlers in the USA, especially when it
comes to terriers. Which was a very giving and
evolving time of period.
We
are very proud of many of our dogs' achievements.
These include multiple winner and championship titles all over
Europe, and Tribuns also had the first Swedish Cairn to win the
World Winner title (Bern, Switzerland) and also first Swedish
cairn to win the European Winner title (Lisbon, Portugal)
both won in 1994 by international and nordic champion
Tribuns Busy As A Bee.
Today we are counting
almost 80 national and over 20 International
show champions. At the World Dog Show in Poznan, Poland,
2006, Tribuns Only You won the World Junior Winner title,
and at the latest European Winner show in Budapest,
Hungary, 2008, the male European Junior Winner title
was won by Tribuns Sky's The Limit, which
shows that the Kennel have
many rising stars to come.
